Please join us while we maintain the Durango Botanic Gardens. Learn about plants and garden maintenance.

There are free Garden Tours at 9:00 a.m. every Saturday that there is maintenance. Always check to make sure everyone is working on the Saturday you want to attend. Contact dlmitzlaff@gmail.com to check the schedule.

Emails are sent out to let volunteers know what projects they will be working on and what we need. We also send text messages. Let us know what works for you when you show up at the garden. Current volunteers will receive an email informing you of the text option. Please reply so Lynn knows how to send you information.

The maintenance crew does not work during very cold or wet weather.

Please join the Garden Maintenance Committee crew for volunteer work maintaining the Durango Botanical Society’s Library Demonstration Garden, the Crevice Gardens Along the Trail and the Gabbro Miniature Conifer Tree Garden.
