The Durango Botanical Society will be focused on garden development in 2018. We will be putting all of our efforts into creating the Arboretum, The Arboretum Along the Trail and the Miniature Tree and Shrub Arboretum. We are working in partnership with the City of Durango, Parks and Rec division. We hope to introduce the community to new trees and shrubs that are suitable for this area. We will have professionals leading outdoor workshops dedicated to trees and shrubs. To support this  effort we are planning some Pop-Up events that will be educational in nature that will be timed with specific plantings. These events will be noticed to our members in the normal fashion. So keep a look out for our announcements.
